Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a Senior Risk Analyst within the Risk and Profitability Measurement (RPM) team to support Economic Capital parameterization and capital attribution across P&C lines.

The role requires hands-on modeling, collaboration with ERM, and strong communication skills to translate complex results to partners and leadership. Hybrid work in Hartford, CT or remote with travel may apply.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in the insurance industry with actuarial/risk background.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; programming experience a plus.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Advance RPM's innovation by enhancing capital measurement methodologies and reporting.
• Collaborate with ERM to improve Economic Capital model granularity.
• Develop and maintain insurance risk parameterizations for the model.
• Communicate results to actuarial leadership and business partners.
