Job summary

EXL is seeking a seasoned Risk Control Consultant to conduct on-site surveys, evaluate risk, and deliver improvement reports for commercial property & casualty clients. You will work from home or office, manage engagements, and travel locally to client sites to support underwriting decisions.

Candidates should have 10+ years in risk control with a major insurer or broker, strong communication, and computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of risk control experience with a major insurer or broker.
• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency.
• Experience with commercial insurance inspections, fire and life safety assessments is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Schedule on-site surveys and provide risk evaluation and risk improvement reports to clients.
• Develop recommendations to support underwriting and loss-control improvements.
• Manage assignments, secure customer appointments within a local territory, and ensure timely completion of work.
• Travel to client sites as needed (retail, hospitality, manufacturing) to assess risk and support insurance programs.
