Job summary

EXL Risk Control is seeking candidates for senior risk control consulting focused on commercial lines insurance. You will schedule on-site surveys, evaluate risk, and deliver improvement reports to underwriting teams from a home office or local office.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years with a major carrier or broker, strong communication and risk assessment skills, and knowledge of commercial lines risk control, inspections, and fire safety investigations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of risk control consulting with a major insurer or broker.
• Experience with commercial Property & Casualty risk control and inspections.
• BS degree in engineering, safety or physical sciences preferred; CSP/ARM a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule on-site surveys and provide risk evaluation reports to clients.
• Develop risk improvement recommendations to support underwriting.
• Manage assignments and secure local customer appointments within a territory and complete work timely.
