Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Commercial Risk Business Continuity Associate to partner across the Commercial Bank to support planning and recovery solutions while ensuring policy compliance and protecting customers and stakeholders.

You will collaborate with first-line peers and senior leaders to drive program governance, oversight, and risk services in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience required.
• 1+ year experience in Risk Management, Consulting, Quality Assurance, Project Management, or Process Management preferred.
• Strong data analytics, presentation, and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional risk management activities focused on Business Continuity, Operational Resiliency, and Crisis Management.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen efficiency and execution of the program goals.
• Manage a robust Business Continuity control suite and aid in annual reviews.
• Provide BC Plan administration support to Plan Owners and Managers for approvals.
• Contribute to crisis event reporting and post-event After Action Reports.
• Support projects with tracking, reporting, and senior leadership presentations.
• Monitor KRIs and escalate threshold breaches for proactive remediation.
• Coordinate development and maintenance of policies and procedures.
• Provide audit and exam management support.
