Job summary

PG&E is seeking a Manager/Principal level professional to oversee risk analytics, modeling and compliance within the Electric Risk & Compliance organization. The role focuses on governance, data-driven risk reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to manage regulatory requirements.

The candidate will work in a hybrid environment, with 2-3 days in the office and must reside within PG&E’s service territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in risk analytics development and modeling.
• 2+ years of experience managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of risk metrics and stress scenarios.
• Lead development of commodity prices, derivatives and transactions for risk analysis.
• Design tools and processes to improve the quality and timeliness of risk reports.
• Develop analytical tools to ensure accurate and timely risk metrics for portfolios.
• Assess effectiveness of hedging strategies and programs.
• Develop quantitative models to support forecasting, valuation and risk assessment.
• Provide analytical support and quantitative risk assessments for business decisions.
