Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company seeks a Senior Compliance and Risk Consultant to provide flexible support across Support Desk and Quality Control roles. The job involves data research, analysis, reporting, and ensuring confidentiality in data responses for internal and external stakeholders.

The position is hybrid, with office presence 3x/week and a flexible headquarters location within PG&E service territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in compliance and risk.
• Experience with data quality, reporting, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve data responses for accuracy, consistency, tone, and confidentiality.
• Develop and implement quality control checklists and best practices to improve processes.
• Research prior responses, identify process gaps, and recommend solutions for efficiency and quality.
• Create reports, perform ad-hoc analysis, and present findings to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables and continuous improvement.
• Perform priors analysis to validate historical responses for consistency and accuracy in current submissions.
• Manage intake, logging, assignment, and tracking of data requests to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Maintain and update databases, perform quality checks, and produce final responses.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

5+ years of relevant experience

Data science or applied analytics background

Audit or Assurance background

Knowledge of regulatory policy and compliance concepts

Experience partnering with visual management/reporting teams

Familiarity with AI-assisted or GenAI enabled search and summarization tools

Leadership/cross-functional collaboration

Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

Certified Risk Management Professional (RIMS-CRMP)

Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP)

Leading Professional in Ethics and Compliance (LPEC)
