Job summary

Santander is seeking a Senior Financial Risk Analytics Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data workflows and analytical models that support CECL, stress-testing, reserving, underwriting, and forecasting. You will work closely with Finance, Risk, IT, and Data teams to translate complex requirements into scalable analytics solutions.

The role emphasizes building dashboards and reports for decision-making, maintaining governance, and supporting regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related quantitative field.
Master's degree in a quantitative discipline preferred.
10+ years of experience with relational DBMS and finance industry exposure.
10+ years of software/data eng/analytics in banking or financial services.

Responsibilities

Scope and manage CECL credit loss model requirements and data needs.
Design, develop, and maintain analytical models and infrastructure.
Develop expertise in Webster’s data systems, databases, tools, and reporting environments.
Build robust data workflows and automated processes for forecasting and risk management.
Collaborate with IT, Data Management, Finance, Risk and business partners on analytics and reporting.
