Elliott Davis is seeking a Senior Associate – Risk Advisory to join our Financial Services Group. You will lead internal audit engagements for fintech and banking clients, supervise staff, and help deliver high‑quality advisory services on risk, controls, and governance.

This role emphasizes engagement leadership, client communication, and mentorship of junior colleagues, with opportunities to improve audit processes and develop staff through coaching and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in internal audit, external audit, banking operations, fintech operations, or risk management.
• Strong understanding of fintech operations and banking regulatory expectations; COSO framework.
• Able to review workpapers, identify issues, and provide quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead portions of internal audit engagements for fintech and banking functions.
• Plan and coordinate audit testing, walkthroughs, and control testing.
• Mentor associates, provide feedback, and support skill progression.
• Prepare and review audit reports with root cause analysis and recommendations.
• Communicate findings with clients and participate in engagement planning and scoping.
