Job summary

LeoForce in Houston is seeking a Senior Riser Engineer to perform FEED, studies, and detailed design engineering for complex riser tasks in offshore facilities. You will build and verify riser analysis models covering fatigue, strength, and installation aspects while managing scope and schedules.

The role requires 8–15 years in oil and gas, a Civil/Structural/Mechanical degree (Master's preferred), and hands-on OrcaFlex experience with knowledge of industry standards (API, DNV, ISO, ASME).

Qualifications

• 8 to 15 years of experience in oil and gas offshore facilities.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Proven working knowledge of design techniques and analysis methods with hands-on OrcaFlex experience.
• Strong understanding of API, DNV, ISO, ASME, and other standards applicable to riser engineering.
• Registered Engineer in Training (EIT) or membership in a professional engineering society preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform conceptual FEED, studies, and detailed design engineering, analysis, and calculations on complex and demanding riser tasks.
• Build and check riser analysis models covering fatigue, strength, installation, and clashing analysis.
• Prepare clear, accurate design calculations, reports, and procedures while managing scope, budget, and deadlines.
• Provide technical direction, design verification, and review of work produced by designers and less experienced engineers.
