Job summary

Percheron LLC in Texas seeks a Sr. Right of Way Agent to handle title, permitting, acquisition and documentation, with expertise in property valuation, survey drawings and alignment sheets.

The role reports to the Lead Agent or ROW Supervisor and may work in the office or out in the field. The position requires at least two years in ROW, TREC and ERW licenses, and strong knowledge of land contracts and title research.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in the Right of Way industry required.
• TREC and ERW licenses are required.
• Strong knowledge of laws, rules, regulations, and ROW policies.
• Knowledge of settlement instruments and contract terms.
• Knowledge of property valuation, survey drawings, and alignment sheets.
• Ability to perform land title research and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Research, negotiate and elect to purchase land rights and ROW for construction.
• Identify land ownership interests and permit requirements.
• Oversee land-related legal issues including titles, deeds, mortgages, and zoning.
• Prepare reports on complex negotiations for easements, settlements, and permits.
• Conduct due diligence and flag deficiencies for remedial action.
• Liaise with landowners/tenants on ownership, easement rights, and access issues.
• Review third-party development plans and ROW records for conflicts.
• Maintain status with supervisor to ensure project completion.
