Job summary

Percheron, LLC in Wheeling, WV is seeking a Sr. Right of Way Agent within driving distance of Wheeling. You will report to the Lead Agent or ROW Supervisor and bring deep knowledge of title, permitting, acquisition and documentation to complex negotiations.

You will research and negotiate land agreements, determine ownership interests, obtain permits, and oversee transfers of titles, deeds, and zoning issues. The role may require field work and preparation of daily activity reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience in the Right of Way industry.
• Knowledge of rights-of-way policies, procedures and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Research, negotiate and elect to purchase land rights for ROW and construction.
• Search for land ownership interests and locations of owners.
• Obtain permits and ensure compliance with permit requirements.
• Oversee transfers of titles, deeds, and zoning issues.
• Prepare daily activity reports and complex negotiation summaries.
• Work in field or office as needed.
