Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Rigging Superintendent for a high-profile data center project in Corpus Christi, TX. You will lead rigging activities, coordinate crane operations, and ensure safe, efficient lift execution while managing crews and equipment.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in rigging and crane supervision, with deep knowledge of lift planning, OSHA standards, and client coordination. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with hyperscale project experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction site experience on large, complex industrial or mission critical facilities.
• Minimum 10 years experience as a rigging foreman, superintendent, lift supervisor or construction supervisor overseeing rigging and crane operations.
• Ability to read and interpret lift plans, drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, industry standards and site safety requirements related to rigging and hoisting.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily planning, coordination, and execution of rigging activities at the project site.
• Ensure correct lifting equipment, materials, and skilled personnel are available for safe, productive work.
• Take decisive action to protect team safety, health and the environment.
• Mentor and guide rigging crews, foremen, and craft professionals in a high-paced, mission critical data center environment.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with crane vendors, engineering teams, construction management and client stakeholders.
• Manage daily scheduling, workforce and client relationships.
