Job summary

Matrix Service, Inc. in Emporia, VA is seeking a Foreman Rigging (NCCER Advanced Certification) with strong refinery maintenance, turnaround, or construction experience to supervise field crews on site.

You will direct daily tasks, ensure safety and quality, manage permits, and conduct toolbox talks; NCCER certification and safety requirements are required. This full-time on-site role offers growth within the Matrix Service team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years or more of refinery maintenance/turnaround/or construction experience.
• Must be able to pass the Craft Skills Test at or above 70% or have an NCCER certification.
• Must follow Matrix Service safety and site-specific training.
• Subject to random drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Work with craft, supervision and client to deliver tasks.
• Maintain safety accountability on site.
• Ensure high quality workmanship is maintained.
• Complete daily timecards.
• Lead toolbox safety meetings and document minutes.
• Manage permits and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Complete Craft Employee Evaluations.
• Access Safety, Health and Environmental information.
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards on site.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
