Job summary

TETRA Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled field service technician to perform lay-flat repairs, pipe fusion, and related field work. You will work with minimal supervision, support rig-up/rig-down, and ensure equipment is ready for on-site service.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of experience in equipment operation and safety compliance, including JSEA. Valid driver's license and ability to work in inclement conditions are required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in equipment operating, deploying and retrieving layflat, and pipe fusion.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License and be able to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform lay-flat repairs with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate safe and effective work practices in all job tasks.
  • Experience in pipe fusion.
  • Attend job walks and provide technical feedback to support accurate bidding.
  • Support rig-up/rig-down activities and job site cleanup.
  • Ensure equipment is prepared and maintained for field service.
  • Communicate issues or observations to supervisor to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Participate in daily JSEA and promote safety awareness in compliance with HSE standards.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships by meeting or exceeding service expectations.

Requirements:
  • EDUCATION:High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • EXPERIENCE:5+ years’ experience, equipment operating, deploying and retrieving layflat, pipe fusion
OTHER:
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License
  • Able and willing to work in inclement weather, climb structures, perform work at heights, and in enclosed spaces
  • Able and willing to work both independently in remote locations and in a team environment
