Job summary

TETRA Technologies, Inc. is seeking a logistics-focused individual in Conroe, Texas to manage shipments, receipts, and inventory for daily operations.

You will coordinate with drivers, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely delivery and accurate records. The role requires 0-2 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and DOT/IATA certifications for dangerous goods shipping.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree or GED required.
• Experience: 0-2 years in relevant field.
• Prior forklift operating experience required.
• DOT and IATA certifications for dangerous goods shipping.
• On-call availability outside regular hours; valid Driver’s License; pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Manage shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
• Communicate with logistics technicians, customer services representatives, service providers and others involved in shipment/receipt.
• Track, trace, and update status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Maintain a clean and tidy delivery system.
• Promptly unload trucks and deliveries and sort receivables.
• Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily inventory.
• Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
• Serve as backup for Facility Coordinator in their absence.
• Assist with contractor coordination and support activities, including site access and ensuring compliance with facility and safety protocols.

Requirements

• EDUCATION: High School Degree or General Education Degree (GED) required
• EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years’ relevant experience
  • Prior forklift operating experience required
• LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: DOT and IATA Certifications for dangerous goods shipping
• OTHER:
  • Available on an on-call basis to respond to urgent facility, operational, and logistical needs outside of regular business hours.
  • Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License
