Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking a Level II maintenance technician to perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of a range of amusement rides and related equipment. The role requires reading blueprints and documentation, and maintaining records of all work performed.

Qualifications

• Requires 4–6 years mechanical maintenance experience, including at least 2 years on rides.
• Strong knowledge of control processors, components, and real-time industrial networks.
• Ability to read one-line diagrams and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily, weekly, monthly, annual inspections of amusement rides and related equipment, taking corrective actions as issues are identified.
• Troubleshoots mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems and takes corrective actions.
• Maintains accurate documentation of all repairs and inspections; submits paperwork to supervision on time.
• Maintains equipment in a safe and ready condition per applicable codes, laws, and policies.
• Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards.
