Carowinds is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Technician to maintain and upgrade ride control systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations at the park in Marvin, NC.

The role requires inspecting rides, ordering parts, and coordinating with other teams while adhering to safety standards and Six Flags guidelines. A strong background in electrical/electronic maintenance and PLCs is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years related maintenance experience in electrical/electronic systems.
• Themed amusement park experience is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to climb and work at heights up to 330 feet.

Responsabilités

• Inspects and evaluates rides for proper function and investigates malfunctions.
• Orders parts as needed for maintenance of ride control systems.
• Ensures rides meet manufacturer, state, and Six Flags guidelines for safety.
• Maintains control software documentation and updates software versions.
• Coordinates activities with other departments and crews as necessary.
• Oversees preventive maintenance and documentation of ride control systems.
