Job summary

Vitesse Systems is seeking a Sr. Test Engineer in Longmont, CO to lead RF and mechanical test efforts. You will develop test plans, BOMs, layouts and procedures, and guide technicians in setup and execution of complex tests to verify product performance against specifications.

The role collaborates with RF, mechanical and systems engineering, develops TRR packages, and reviews customer specs. Requires 8+ years in RF test engineering and strong data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, math or related field.
• 8+ years of industry experience in test engineering.
• Strong familiarity with RF test equipment and measurement techniques.
• Strong familiarity with communication systems and RF/microwave components.
• Experience with environmental test methods and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, perform, and ensure quality of RF bench, near-field, and far-field tests.
• Develop test requirements and verification methods with engineering teams.
• Create and review Test Plans, Procedures and Reports.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Support technical proposals and data analysis for tests.
