Vitesse Systems, in Longmont, Colorado, seeks a Test Engineer II to collaborate with RF & Mechanical Engineers on test plans, layouts, procedures, and data processing. The role includes supporting technicians during test setup and execution, with focus on verifying performance against customer specifications and providing training and troubleshooting as needed.

The engineer will help generate TRR packages, review test reports, and assist with proposals, while ensuring environmental test

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Math, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years industry experience.
• Strong familiarity with RF test equipment and measurement techniques.
• Familiar with RF/microwave systems and components.
• Experience with environmental testing methods and equipment.
• Budgeting for test uncertainties and RF power/link analysis.
• Good data management and communication skills.
• Works well independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Interface with RF and Mechanical engineers to develop test docs.
• Assist technicians with setup and execution of tests.
• Provide training and troubleshooting to Test Technicians.
• Develop test layouts, plans, and procedures.
• Review Test Plans, Procedures, and Test Reports.
• Generate TRR packages; support customer reviews.
• Assess customer specs; ensure test requirements meet specs.
• Support technical proposals and data processing for RF tests.
