Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace EDS in Lansdale, PA is seeking a Test Engineer to design, develop, and implement test software for RF electronic assemblies and systems. You will support integration, qualification and acceptance testing across a diverse product portfolio while working with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in test engineering, proven automation scripting skills (VB.NET, Python, etc.), and experience with RF test equipment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) + years relevant experience as a Test Engineer designing, developing, and implementing detailed test strategies and test techniques.
• Five (5) + years' experience developing automated test scripts/programs in a text based IDE (VB.NET, C##, Python etc.).
• Experience with RF test equipment such as Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, Power meters etc.
• This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. To be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide test software engineering expertise and support while collaborating with cross-functional and cross-site teams to achieve customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
• Design, develop, and implement robust test solutions interfacing with complex RF subsystems and assemblies.
• Implement hardware/software protocols & engineering tools for new product development.
• Develop application test software for multi-board/processor systems with FPGAs and CPUs.
• Design, develop, and implement intuitive communications interfaces between equipment and the user.
• Perform investigations and create test setups and procedures as needed.
• Interfacing directly with customers to support design compliance with requirements.
• Support Engineering and Operations with testing outside the normal test process.
