Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Associate Test Engineer in San Diego to design, verify, and integrate automated RF test systems for production. The role emphasizes developing test software, analyzing data, and collaborating across RF design, systems, and manufacturing teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in HW test, SW integration, and experience with LabVIEW and TestStand, plus Python and C++. A security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related technical discipline with 2+ years in HW system design, automated test, or SW integration.
• Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand environments.
• Experience with Python and C++ (or C+).
• Familiarity with Linux, VHDL, and development boards like Zynq, ZedBoard, Arty.

Responsibilities

• Design automated test software for production testing with multi-unit capabilities and automated fault detection.
• Develop automated test solutions using LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Create and document SW test plans, setup procedures, and production SW reports.
• Support design verification and validation testing as required.
• Analyze test data and provide technical conclusions to design teams.
• Collaborate with RF design, systems, manufacturing, quality, and production teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain test documentation, SW requirements, and configuration-controlled records.
• Assist in transitioning test methods from development into manufacturing.
