Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking a seasoned RF hardware technician/engineer in Mountain View, CA. The role requires an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Technology or related field and 8 years of industry experience in electrical and mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and testing.

Experience with OTA chambers (R&S, Bluetest, GTS) and with call boxes (R&S, Keysight, Anritsu) is preferred, along with RF components, soldering (0201), and strong documentation skills using Google Docs/Sheets.

Qualifications

• Associate/Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Technology or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of industry experience with electrical troubleshooting, electrical assembly, and mechanical assembly.
• Experience with OTA chambers from R&S, Bluetest, or GTS.
• Experience with call boxes from R&S, Keysight, or Anritsu.
• Experience with RF passive/active components such as splitters, filters, amplifiers, etc.
• Good soldering skills (0201 components)
• Computer skills: Windows or ChromeOS is a must,
• Familiar with word docs (Google Docs) and spreadsheets (Google Sheets)
• Detail-oriented is a must‑have
• Good communication skills

• Excellent electrical assembly and debugging skills.
