Job summary

General Atomics is seeking an Assembly, Integration, and Test Technician to join GA-EMS Radar Technologies. The role focuses on assembling RF and electronic subassemblies, integrating them into larger systems, and performing system-level validation in support of new air and ground designs.

Responsibilities include fabricating and wiring harnesses, calibrating test equipment, identifying issues, and documenting results. A DoD security clearance eligibility is required for certain projects.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in business, planning or related discipline with five+ years of progressive experience.
• Skilled in basic through-hole and surface-mount soldering techniques.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, procedures and assembly instructions.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, RF, and electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, modify, install, and document complex equipment.
• Assemble RF hardware and test fixtures per BOMs and instructions.
• Set up and operate RF/electronic test equipment to perform functional tests.
• Diagnose issues and work with engineering to implement corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed records of assembly, integration, and testing activities.
• Ensure compliance with IPC and MIL-STD standards as applicable.
