Job summary

RGNext in Huntsville, AL is seeking a skilled RF/Systems Engineer to lead the RF Safety program and support land, sea, and ship-based flight safety systems. The role spans RF, hardware, electrical, configuration, operations, maintenance and projects to keep critical assets safe and compliant.

You will develop documentation, perform surveys, manage RMF cyber requirements, and collaborate with government and teammates.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM field.
2+ years in engineering, RF, or related disciplines.
Experience creating documentation for requirements, design, testing, planning.
Knowledge in RF engineering, systems engineering, configuration management and/or project management.
Ability to follow and establish configuration management processes.
Strong mathematical skills.
Ability to provide project planning and estimates.
Effective communication with teammates, customers and management, including presentation skills.
Self-motivated to define and pursue projects to completion.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks and provide status.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work on a ship and go to sea.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance and passport; U.S. citizenship required.
Must relocate to Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.
Flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or weekends.

Responsibilities

Tackle a variety of RF, hardware, electrical, configuration, operations, maintenance and project challenges.
Lead the RF Safety program: schedule RF Surveys, oversee RF safety docs and training, coordinate RF oversight, communicate with management and government.
Maintain and improve land/sea-based Flight Safety systems on Kwajalein, Roi Namur and ships.
Fault detection, isolation, system analysis, reporting, repair, testing and documentation.
Ensure systems are cyber compliant per RMF accreditation requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
