Job summary

SimTech, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior RF Engineer to design, develop, integrate and test advanced RF/microwave systems for sensor, seeker, and signal generation applications.

You will support characterization, modeling, and lab/field testing, while collaborating with systems, software, mechanical, and test engineers. A Secret clearance is required, with growth opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Physics.
• 8+ years in RF, microwave, radar, or related RF fields.
• Strong knowledge of RF/microwave theory and system architectures.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and integrating RF/microwave systems.
• Proficiency with RF test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work in teams.
• U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and evaluate advanced RF/microwave systems.
• Support characterization and development of RF signal generation systems.
• Perform RF system analysis, modeling, prototyping, integration, and testing.
• Develop RF hardware designs: transmitters, receivers, mixers, filters, amplifiers, oscillators.
• Conduct lab and field testing to verify performance against requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, test plans, and customer presentations.
• Participate in design reviews and support field demonstrations and government test events.
• Ensure compliance with standards and security protocols.
