Job summary

Riverside Research in Beavercreek, OH seeks a Senior RF Scientist specializing in radio-frequency measurement, electromagnetic modeling, and material characterization. You will provide expert-level technical leadership across broadband RF materials characterization, high-fidelity electromagnetic property extraction, and advanced modeling and simulation of next generation RF systems.

The role involves leading RF material characterization, calibrations, and workflow development with HFSS/COMSOL,

Qualifications

8+ years RF measurement and modeling experience with advanced degree or equivalent.
U.S. citizen with active Top-Secret clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility.
Experience with dielectric property extraction and materials signatures.
Experience with full-wave EM solvers (HFSS/FEKO/CST/COMSOL).
Strong theoretical, modeling, and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

Lead advanced RF material characterization using waveguide, free-space, coaxial probe, and hybrid methods.
Perform S-parameter extraction of permittivity and permeability with physics-based algorithms.
Develop RF workflow techniques including calibration and time-domain gating.
Lead simulation workflows with HFSS, COMSOL, or equivalent EM solvers.
Collaborate with government RF material researchers and present findings to customers.
Mentor junior scientists and guide technical development.
