Job summary

EVONA in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Senior RF & Phased Array Engineer to lead hands-on development of next‑gen RF sensing hardware for space applications. You will own core RF systems, with emphasis on phased arrays, radar sensing and SDR, working closely with cross-disciplinary engineers.

Ideal candidates bring deep expertise in phased arrays or RF hardware, strong lab bring-up skills, and a track record of turning concepts into working hardware.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in RF, microwave or antenna engineering.
• Experience developing and testing real RF hardware.
• Ability to take technical work from concept through prototype and lab validation.
• Hands-on RF test and troubleshooting capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of phased-array antennas and electronically steered systems.
• Perform beamforming, calibration and phase/amplitude control tasks.
• Conduct RF system analyses and trade studies; develop high-sensitivity RF receivers.
