Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior PCB Designer (RF) to join our team in a startup-like environment in Austin, TX. You will perform PCB layout and library management for state-of-the-art RF, power, and digital electronics used in aerospace applications.

You will work with a talented team using Altium Designer and enterprise tools to deliver complex PCBs with 30 GHz RF performance, while wearing multiple hats in a dynamic workflow.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or similar is required.
• 7 years of experience as a PCB Designer.
• Strong experience with Altium Designer.
• Strong understanding of high-frequency RF PCB layout, shielding and impedance matching.
• Experience with high-reliability, aerospace, and IPC Class 3 designs.
• Experience with blind vias and microvias.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex RF and mixed-signal PCB layout in Altium Designer.
• Own intricate PCB layouts including 30 GHz RF, power, and digital sections.
• Generate and revise drawings and release packages for PCBs and assemblies.
• Manage and maintain electronic component libraries in Altium Enterprise.
• Generate and review schematic symbols and footprints.
• Maintain templates for schematics, layouts, and BOMs.
