Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior PCB Designer to lead complex mixed-signal PCB layouts for aerospace applications. You will collaborate with engineers to deliver high-density boards featuring 30 GHz RF, power, and digital sections, while managing libraries and release packages.

You will maintain schematic symbols, footprints, and templates, ensuring accuracy and reliability in a fast-paced startup environment with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or similar.
• 5 years of experience as a PCB Designer.
• Strong experience with Altium Designer.
• Strong understanding of the technical principles of PCB layout.
• Experience with high-reliability aerospace IPC Class 3 designs.
• Experience with blind vias and microvias.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Eye for detail and commitment to excellence.
• Comfortable with MS Teams, Confluence, and Jira.
• Ability to work well under deadlines.
• Strong digital, written, and spoken communication with hardware and mechanical engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mixed-signal PCB layout in Altium Designer with engineers.
• Own intricate layouts featuring 30 GHz RF, power, and digital on one board.
• Generate and revise drawings and release packages for PCBs and assemblies.
• Manage and maintain electronic component libraries in Altium Enterprise.
• Generate and review schematic symbols and footprints.
• Maintain templates for schematics, layouts, BOMs, and related documents.
