Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior PCB Designer to join our team. You will perform PCB layout and library management for state-of-the-art power, digital, and RF electronics used in aerospace applications.

You will collaborate with a talented team in a startup-like environment and contribute to complex, high-density boards. Responsibilities include owning intricate layouts, generating release packages, and maintaining libraries and templates.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or similar.
• 5 years of experience as a PCB Designer.
• Strong experience with Altium Designer.
• Experience with high-reliability aerospace and IPC Class 3 designs.
• Experience with blind vias and microvias.
• Strong collaboration skills using MS Teams, Confluence, and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mixed-signal PCB layout in Altium Designer with engineers.
• Own intricate layouts, including 30 GHz RF, power, and digital on the same board.
• Generate and revise drawings and release packages for PCBs and assemblies.
• Manage and maintain electronic component libraries in Altium Enterprise.
• Generate and review schematic symbols and footprints.
• Maintain templates for schematics, layouts, and BOMs.
