Job summary

Rocketlab is seeking a Senior RF Payload Formulation Systems Engineer at its Long Beach, CA headquarters to lead advanced RF payload systems for next-generation satellite platforms. You will manage payload requirements, drive technical innovation in communications, radar, and other RF sensing applications while supporting business development.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in electrical or aerospace engineering, with significant experience in aerospace RF systems. This role requires an active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace or defense RF systems for Senior RF Engineer I.
• 8+ years of experience in aerospace or defense RF systems for Senior RF Engineer II.
• Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF payload engineering formulation for new opportunities.
• Develop RF link budgets and performance analyses.
• Drive technical development of advanced payload concepts.
