Job summary

Tech(x) in Sierra Vista, AZ, is seeking a RF Network Engineer to support Army tactical-edge network planning, radio network integration, and modernization efforts. You will develop tactical radio network plans, and conduct lab and field tests to ensure reliable Warfighter communications.

The ideal candidate has hands-on tactical communications experience, strong systems engineering, documentation skills, and familiarity with army radio systems, mission planning tools, and test environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with Army tactical radio systems and mission planning.
• Ability to translate Warfighter needs into technical requirements.
• Experience in lab and field testing, risk reduction, and anomaly resolution.

Responsibilities

• Develop, provision, validate, and sustain tactical radio network plans.
• Plan and execute laboratory and field-based risk-reduction tests.
• Support system integration and testing for Tactical Network.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and system evaluation reports.
• Integrate and troubleshoot SINCGARS, EPLRS, CSEL, JTRS radios and related infrastructure.
