Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a skilled RF Network Engineer to test Army RF equipment and deliver results with actionable insights. You will apply extensive technical expertise to support RF equipment acquisition decisions and develop solutions for Army Tactical Networks.

The role requires collaboration with teams to ensure successful testing and documentation, with a focus on RF propagation, OTA testing, and SDR/digital radio technologies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of RF experience including RF propagation.
  • Experience with OTA tests, closed-loop bench tests, antenna testing, and RF testing.
  • Experience with writing engineering test documentation and reports, including test plans, procedures, and results.
  • Experience with IPv4 usage.
  • Experience with SDR and digital radios.
  • Knowledge of MANET and RF modulation and multiplexing schemes.
  • Knowledge of networking functions, servers, and virtual machines.
  • Ability to gather and analyze customer requirements and identify potential solutions.
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

  • Conduct tests on the customer’s RF equipment and provide detailed test results with insights and recommendations.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex problems on Army Tactical Networks.
  • Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge.
