Job summary

Quantic X-Microwave is seeking a hands-on technician to work on state-of-the-art printed circuit boards and RF components, supporting production with manual and automated equipment. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in manufacturing, strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to read drawings and schematics; IPC J-STD soldering certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be detail-oriented and possess knowledge of manufacturing procedures and practices.
• Technical knowledge of electronic test and repair theories, principles, methods and techniques.
• Skill in interpreting drawings, schematics, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and modifications on product using approved procedures.
• Fine motor skills, able to work with small parts and fine gauge wire.
• Ability manipulate and build printed circuit cards under a microscope.
• Troubleshoot circuits to component level using schematics and circuit knowledge.
• Mentor, supervise and assist other technicians.
• Report product status to management.
• Ensure product is moved through testing sequences in a timely manner to meet schedule demands.
