Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a seasoned hardware/software system validator to lead test strategy and execution for EW/RF products. You will validate wireless hardware, develop test plans, and drive failure analysis across integration levels with Python/Matlab, Linux tooling, and automation. Role requires 6+ years of experience, a relevant engineering degree, and an active U.S.

Secret clearance. On-site Costa Mesa location, with travel to test sites as needed.

  • Proficient in Python or Matlab for data analysis.

  • Support and perform field testing and act as liaison for ground and flight testing.
  • Leverage data analysis to reproduce and characterize failures.
  • Automate tests to enhance test coverage and ensure reproducibility.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Create and maintain electrical system test strategy and test plans for various Anduril Electronics Warfare (EW) and Radio Frequency (RF) products.
  • Characterize wireless communication systems and devices.
  • Analyze and drive coverage and analysis of failures observed in integration, characterization, and system level testing.
  • Integration testing of subassemblies and systems including RF and digital hardware, firmware, embedded software, and application software.
  • Facilitate electrical system performance, calibration, durability, and environmental testing of developmental components and systems per test plan.
  • Develop and maintain test standards, design and develop test equipment, or procuring and handling purchased test capital equipment to support test readiness.
  • Support and perform field testing and act as a liaison to conduct ground and flight testing.
  • Leverage data analysis and existing tools to reproduce and characterize failures.
  • Automate tests to enhance test coverage and ensure reproducibility and repeatability.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on hardware, software, and / or system validation and verification testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related fields
  • Skilled with test equipment like multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and vector network analyzers.
  • Familiar with Linux applications like command line (terminal) interface, creating and executing shell scripts, debug utilities, and general file system navigation.
  • Familiar with programming languages like Python or Matlab to perform data parsing, data analysis, and test automation.
  • Strong root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to travel to and work at remote sites supporting test integration, commissioning, and training as required.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

US Salary Range

$132,000 - $198,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
