Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced DevOps specialist to design, deploy, and manage RF ground systems using Kubernetes and GitLab. You will build robust CI/CD pipelines for secure cloud deployments and write Python or Shell scripts to automate RF processes.

The role emphasizes implementing secure DevSecOps practices, incident response, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to maintain compliance and reliability across RF workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, or related field, or 4 years of related experience.
• 5+ years Infrastructure/DevOps experience focused on RF ground systems.
• Proven ability to work with virtual/remote teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Hands-on Kubernetes deployment to clusters for RF apps.
• Experience with Helm charts and Argo CD.
• Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure.
• CI/CD tooling: GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Scripting in Python or Bash.
• IAT Level II/III certification and TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage RF ground systems infrastructure with Kubernetes and GitLab.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments.
• Write and maintain Python or Shell scripts to automate RF processes.
• Apply enterprise security design principles to RF workflow.
• Participate in incident response and threat mitigation in real time.
• Ensure DevSecOps practices comply with standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with dev, ops, and security teams to foster shared security responsibility.
