Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior Infrastructure / DevSecOps Engineer focused on RF ground systems. The role involves delivering complex RF software into operations, building secure CI/CD pipelines, and managing Kubernetes-based infrastructure.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and apply security-by-design throughout development. The candidate should have substantial DevOps experience, cloud proficiency, scripting skills, and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field or 4 years of directly related work experience in lieu of a degree
• 5+ years of Infrastructure/DevOps experience with a focus on RF ground systems
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engagement with virtual or remote teams
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and deploying RF applications to Kubernetes clusters
• Experience with using Helm charts to deploy software to Kubernetes clusters (e.g., Argo CD)
• Strong experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tools (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, GitHub workflows)
• IAT Level II or III certification (i.e., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CASP+)
• Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance with required Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage RF ground systems infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes and GitLab.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent and secure cloud infrastructure deployments.
• Scripting and Automation: Write and maintain scripts in Python or Shell to automate RF ground system processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Cloud Security: Apply enterprise security design principles to RF ground systems workflow, ensuring that security is an integral part of the development process.
• Incident Response: Participate in incident response activities, identifying and mitigating security threats in real-time.
• Compliance and Audits: Ensure that all DevSecOps practices comply with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to foster a culture of shared responsibility for security.
