Job summary

Corner Alliance is seeking an RF Engineering Support specialist with 10+ years of experience to join our team and support a nationwide public safety broadband network. You will perform RF propagation analysis, POR analysis, drive-test validation, and develop reports and dashboards using ESRI ArcGIS, InfoVista Planet, and Power BI; remote work with client site as needed.

Responsibilities include POR analysis, drive-test data evaluation, RF map production, and state/national coverage assessments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years’ experience supporting nationwide or multi-state wireless networks, preferably public safety broadband or similar mission-critical environments.
• Hands-on RF engineering studies and analyses of coverage, capacity, and performance using GIS/RF tools.
• Experience reviewing and post-processing wireless drive-test data with tools such as QXDM, AccuverXCAL, or QualiPoc.
• Familiarity with 4G/5G RAN technologies and KPIs for network deployment, performance, and usage.
• Proficiency with tools like ESRI ArcGIS, InfoVista Planet, Tableau, Power BI for dashboards and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform POR analysis by loading and validating coverage statistics and shapefiles in ESRI, and document discrepancies.
• Conduct raster and vector data checks across .grd and .shp files using ESRI ArcGIS Pro and InfoVista Planet.
• Execute drive-test analysis by comparing measured samples to predicted coverage and compute RF metrics.
• Develop RF map products showing measured vs. predicted coverage and produce market maps for reporting.
• Perform on-air coverage and capacity assessments, validating statistics and comparing against POR data.
• Create state and national coverage inventories and generate comparison spreadsheets for POR components.
• Prepare network measurement reports, dashboards, and white papers on 4G/5G deployment and usage.
• Maintain thorough documentation and communicate findings to client SMEs and federal staff.
