Type One Energy is seeking an experienced Senior RF Engineer‑ECH System Lead to supervise the design, development and implementation of advanced RF and microwave systems for stellarator fusion. The role blends deep technical leadership with business development and cross‑functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in RF/microwave tech, PhD or Master in EE, and a proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams across complex projects with domestic and international clients.

Qualifications

Ph.D. or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related field.
10+ years in RF and microwave technology, high‑power systems.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team designing millimeter wave components for plasma heating.
Oversee multiple RF projects ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery.
Advise on system architecture, diagnostics, and operation of RF programs.
Foster innovation and collaboration within the RF group.
Manage client relationships and act as primary technical contact.
Ensure compliance with RF design standards and safety.
