Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to lead the design, development, integration, and validation of advanced RF and electromagnetic systems used in next-generation sensing platforms. This on-site role is based in Louisville, CO and offers exposure to RF hardware, calibration, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of RF, microwave, and electromagnetics experience, hands-on lab skills with VNA and spectrum analyzers, and proficiency in RF

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in RF, microwave, electromagnetics or related hardware.
• Hands-on lab experience with VNA, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
• Experience designing, integrating, testing RF/microwave systems.
• Familiar with RF test methods and calibration strategies.

Responsibilities

• Own RF system requirements, budgets, architectures, interfaces, and verification.
• Design, model, build, and characterize RF/microwave hardware.
• Develop RF signal-chain architectures and low-noise interfaces.
• Create RF test environments, calibration methods, and measurement procedures.
• Lead hardware bring-up, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Use HFSS/CST/ADS/AWR to guide designs and correlate with data.
• Develop automation scripts for instrument control and reporting.
• Collaborate across electrical, software, mechanical, and systems teams.
• Support product verification, design reviews, and production transition.
