Job summary

Hyperfine is seeking a Senior RF & Electromagnetics Engineer to design, test, and optimize RF coils and analog electronics for portable MRI at our Guilford, CT facility. You will lead coil development, simulations, and verification with cross-functional teams.

A strong foundation in electromagnetism, RF circuit design, and phased arrays is required. You will mentor junior engineers and help drive manufacturing, QA, and integration within our quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, engineering physics, or electrical engineering with 5+ years of related experience; or Master’s with 3+ years or PhD
• Experience with RF coils, analog electronics, and MRI hardware
• Strong electromagnetism theory and RF design fundamentals

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and optimize RF coils and analog electronics for portable MRI.
• Simulate, test, and optimize coil and RF electronics designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF subsystems.
• Develop and validate hardware-based EM-noise reduction methods.
• Guide prototyping, fabrication, and QA processes with vendors.
