Qualifications

• 10 years of related professional experience in electronics technology, test, measurement, troubleshooting, or repair of Electronic Countermeasure systems.
• Military technical school or specialty experience associated with Electronic Countermeasures, RF, microwave, electronics, or related systems.
• IPC solder certification and demonstrated ability to rework surface-mount components at the board level.
• Ability to obtain a favorable Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan and accomplish complex technical projects or studies; serve as a technical expert in electronics, RF, microwave systems, or environmental factors affecting electronic systems.
• Review work for compliance with project objectives and provide advice on technical problems.
• May supervise, train, or provide direction to lower-level technicians.
• Prepare designs, test setups, experiments, and procedures for complex equipment and instrumentation.
• Plan approaches to solve design and test problems; coordinate with engineers and users to resolve issues and ensure system compatibility.
• Design and coordinate test setups and experiments to prove feasibility and improve performance.
• Test, troubleshoot, repair, install, and support RF systems and related electronics equipment.
• Diagnose system problems and identify root causes across multiple levels.
• Provide technical support during test events; act as a subject matter expert on test equipment.
