Job summary

TRISTAR in Indiana's Crane site seeks an RF / Electrical Systems Engineer (TIG) to help design, analyze, and optimize critical test-range infrastructure, with a focus on RF, electrical power distribution, and communications systems.

You will perform strength analyses, measurements, and troubleshooting across wired/wireless networks, fiber optics, and field cabling, supporting 2nd/3rd shift hours and occasional travel. Strong collaboration and clear technical communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with hands-on RF design and power systems experience.
• Proven ability to design, analyze, and troubleshoot RF and electrical networks.
• Experience with measurements, test ranges, and field deployments.

Responsibilities

• Provide RF and electrical engineering support for signal communications management and power distribution for MXQT test activities.
• Design, analyze, evaluate, and optimize test-range infrastructure including wired and wireless systems.
• Manage fiber-to-cellular tower architecture and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Perform power system studies and related analyses.
• Troubleshoot RF and electrical issues and perform measurements with specialized equipment.
