Job summary

Acron Aviation is seeking a self-motivated RF/Microwave Engineer to join the RF Design team in the Surveillance product line. You will design and deliver RF system solutions for ACAS/TCAS, transponder, DME, UAT, and related RF functions across the portfolio.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support new product development and resolve production and field issues while advancing system capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or graduate degree with 2+ years of related experience
• Academic background in electromagnetic (EM) and RF/microwave theory
• Experience with RF CCAs across UHF through E-band ranges preferred
• Understanding of RF components and systems and DO-160 or MIL-STD RF requirements

Responsibilities

• Derive RF hardware requirements from system-level specs
• Define RF functional blocks for surveillance and communications architectures
• Perform RF and analog circuit design from component level to full system integration
• Support design reviews, testing, and production transition
• Develop enhancements for new RF and wireless capabilities
