Job summary

EVONA is seeking an RF-focused hardware engineer to own the radio chain across the PNT stack, from on-orbit transmit payloads to ground station receive paths and the next-generation user receiver. You will design RF front ends, select RFICs, LNAs, PAs, mixers, synthesizers, filtering and antennas, and prove performance in the lab.

You will work directly with the Chief Engineer, taking ownership of the full design lifecycle from architecture through bring-up to measured results, while

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field; MS preferred.
• 3–5 years designing RF hardware for GNSS/space/wireless.
• Hands-on RF front end design from schematic to measured performance.
• Strong analogue and digital PCB design capability.
• Familiar with RFICs, FPGAs, SoCs and antenna behaviour.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Design RF front ends and signal chains for space payloads and ground stations.
• Integrate RFICs, LNAs, PAs, mixers, synthesizers, filtering and antennas.
• Own RF performance analysis: link budgets, noise figure, EVM, interference rejection.
• Design analogue, RF and digital PCBs with RF considerations.
• Define test approaches and validate via simulation and bench tests.
• Work with SDRs and RF test equipment daily.
• Support productisation from prototype to manufacturable product.
• Collaborate with ops on system commissioning and anomaly resolution.
• Extract requirements with engineering and commercial teams.
