Job summary

Encode Inc, a fully owned subsidiary of LanceSoft, is seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer to contribute to RF circuit design, simulation, and testing for advanced radar and RF sensor systems. You will work within Agile teams, handling schematic capture, PCB layout, and system-level considerations.

The role requires 7+ years in RF design or a graduate degree with 4+ years, plus an active US secret clearance. Expect cross-functional collaboration and participation in critical design reviews."

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required; 7–10 years of experience, or a Graduate Degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Active US secret security clearance is required.
• 4+ years RF design and 3D EM simulation experience; schematic capture and PCB layout CAD tools.
• Experience with RF test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Radar/system concepts familiarity and RF system considerations are important.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, develop, and test RF circuits and antenna subsystems for radar or tactical applications.
• Perform RF/microwave design synthesis from board to subsystem level.
• Create test plans and procedures for RF subsystems; participate in design reviews.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and follow company product development processes.
