Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced RF design engineer for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. You will lead design and development of transmitters, receivers, and exciters, and craft RF CCAs while working in a lab to verify modules and manage integration.

Applicants should have a STEM degree with a strong background in RF, HFSS, and related tools, and be able to obtain interim clearance as required. Relocation may be offered according to eligibility.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum of ten years of relevant experience in RF design, testing, and simulation.
• Experience with RF design tools and CAD/electronics software.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) with RF or mixed signals.
• Lab-based component characterization, module verification, and integration.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
• Collaborate with power, digital, and mechanical teams.
