Job summary

Axiom Space seeks a highly capable Manager, Radio Communications to lead RF system design and testing for aerospace and defense platforms. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Telecommunications, Aerospace or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years in RF communications, wireless or satellite domains.
• 3+ years leading technical teams or programs.
• Experience designing, developing, integrating, and testing RF systems.
• Strong RF architecture knowledge, link budgets, antennas, spectrum management.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, integration, and deployment of RF communication systems for aerospace and defense.
• Mentor a team of RF, systems, and communications engineers.
• Define RF system architecture, requirements, and performance specs.
• Oversee testing and validation of RF solutions across platforms.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace, government, spectrum and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with PM, engineering, manufacturing, and customers.
