StarTekk is seeking a highly experienced Senior RF Communications Engineer to support a major Aviation Client in Atlantic City, NJ. The role covers design, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of RF and communications systems onsite.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of RF experience, strong knowledge of RF parameters, and hands-on testing with RF equipment. OTA testing, T&E documentation, and VOIP integration are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of RF communications engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of RF parameters including VSWR, gain, noise figure, impedance, output power, intermodulation.
• Experience with RF components (amplifiers, attenuators, filters, mixers, switches, circulators).
• Experience with RF system integration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with TCP/IP, RS-232/422, ATM, SONET, ISDN, Frame Relay, and GPIB.
• Experience with diagnostic test equipment and data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, integrate, test, and troubleshoot RF and communications systems.
• Perform RF measurements, testing, analysis, and troubleshooting activities.
• Support analog and digital VHF/UHF radio system integration, operation, and testing.
• Develop and execute Test & Evaluation documentation including plans, procedures, VRTMs, and reports.
• Establish and maintain communications testbeds and environments.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and networks.
• Support VoIP interfaces and protocols.
• Conduct communications site surveys and support installation activities.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide project status updates.
