StarTekk is seeking a highly experienced Senior RF Communications Engineer for an on-site role in Atlantic City, NJ. The position supports a major aviation client and encompasses design, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of RF systems with extensive hands-on experience required.

The role involves T&E, OSI/TCP/IP knowledge, VoIP interfaces, and RF components. Contract (C2C) for 12 months with potential extension, based in Atlantic City onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, RF Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in RF Communications Engineering.
• Experience with RF systems design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of RF characteristics including VSWR, gain, noise figure, impedance, output power, intermodulation, selectivity, and interference.
• Experience with RF components including amplifiers, attenuators, filters, mixers, switches, and circulators.
• Hands‑on experience with analog and digital VHF/UHF radio systems.
• Experience with communications system integration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with communications protocols including TCP/IP, RS-232, RS-422, ATM, SONET, ISDN, Frame Relay, and GPIB.
• Experience with communications test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, RF power meters, protocol analyzers, and communication system analyzers.
• Experience with Test & Evaluation (T&E), test plans, test procedures, VRTMs, and test reporting.
• Knowledge of OSI and TCP/IP reference models.
• Experience configuring and maintaining routers and switches.
• Experience with VoIP protocols including SIP, RTP, and MGCP.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  We are seeking a highly experienced Senior RF Communications Engineer to support a major Aviation Client in Atlantic City, NJ. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, integration, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of RF and communications systems. The role requires extensive hands‑on experience with RF technologies, VHF/UHF radio systems, communications protocols, networking, VoIP, and Test & Evaluation (T&E) activities.
